Letter 118
Dear Ones,
Today let us talk about relationships. First and the very most important relationship you have is with yourself. It is a fact if you are not taking care of that relationship then all your other relationships are not being taken care of either.
I am thinking that you are saying NO, I take care of my relationships with partners, children, family, friends, work and the people at the grocery store. I can almost hear you saying relationships are so important to me and I take care of them. I am always there for the people I love and care about. Honoring my commitments, listening and being present for the important people in my life.
All of those things are important and so necessary if you are wanting to have healthy loving relationships. THE RELATIONSHIP I AM WONDERING ABOUT IS THE ONE WITH YOURSELF. Do you pay 90% of your attention and time to the other relationships in your lives and 10% of your attention and time to yourself? How often do you walk around feeling empty and rung out? No energy, no time, feeling like you have not one more thing to give.
Those are the feelings and the way you live when you are taking care of all your other relationships except the most important one. If your body, mind, and spirit is not fed and cared for how can it continue to give and give. It can’t and that is why I am saying to you that your most important relationship is the one with yourself.
SELF CARE AND LOVE IS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE. I KNOW THAT YOU HAVE HEARD THIS OVER AND OVER. YET IT IS ONE OF THE MOST IGNORED STATEMENTS IN YOUR WORLD. YOU HAVE BEEN TAUGHT TO BELIEVE THAT OTHERS AND EVERYONE ELSE MUST BE CARED FOR FIRST. YOU MUST BE LOVING, KIND, AND PRESENT FOR EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING ELSE IN YOUR LIVES.
I AM SAYING TO YOU MOST LOUDLY TODAY THAT THIS IS NOT A TRUTH. YOU MOST URGENTLY HAVE TO START CARING FOR YOURSELVES FIRST. DO YOU NOT SEE THAT YOU HAVE REALLY NOTHING LEFT TO GIVE UNTIL YOU FILL YOURSELVES UP FIRST? EVERYONE ON YOUR PLANET IS WASTING AWAY FROM THEIR LACK OF CARING ABOUT SELF.
WOULD YOU CARE AND TREAT ME IN THIS MANNER THAT YOU ARE TREATING YOURSELF. I KNOW THE ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION, NO YOU WOULD NOT YOU WOULD NEVER DREAM OF DOING THAT.
I AM GOING TO SAY AGAIN MOST LOUDLY. WE ARE ALL ONE. YOU ARE ME AND I AM YOU. SO INDEED WHEN YOU ARE UNCARING AND LEAVE YOURSELF TO THE LAST, SO YOU ARE DOING THE SAME TO ME. WHEN YOU HAVE NOTHING LEFT TO GIVE AND FEEL WASHED OUT. THEN I AM LEFT WITH THE SAME FEELING. THAT IS NOT WHAT LOVE IS ABOUT.
LOVE IS NOT ABOUT FEELING EMPTY AND WASHED OUT BECAUSE YOU GAVE IT ALL AWAY. LOVE IS ABOUT LOVING AND CARING FOR YOURSELF FIRST. THIS ALLOWS YOU TO HAVE LIMITLESS AMOUNTS OF LOVE AND CARING TO GIVE TO OTHERS.
ONLY WHEN YOU ARE FULL AND BALANCED WILL THERE BE ENOUGH TO GO AROUND FOR EVERYONE ELSE. THEN YOU WILL COME TO THE END OF YOUR DAY STILL FEELING FULL AND BALANCED.
I AM LOVING YOU AND HOLDING YOU MOST DEARLY IN MY HEART. I AM HOPING THAT YOU WILL START LOVING YOURSELVES AND HOLDING YOURSELVES IN YOUR OWN HEARTS MOST DEARLY. KNOW THAT WE ARE HERE WAITING TO HELP.
