Letter 99

Dear Ones,

Today I want to talk about something new I would like to start.  It will be an addition to Letters from Mother Mary.  I am going to call it “Footnotes to Mother Mary’s Letters”.

Barbara or Anna as I call her will be posting the first Footnotes in a few days, she hasn’t written it yet.  Footnotes will be letters or comments from all of you about how you have used the letters to help yourselves.  

I know that you read the letters and sometimes it feels like oh no that letter was written just for me.  Darn what do I do now or maybe the words are a little stronger than that.  There are two choices at this point either you ignore the letter or decide you want to do something about what you read in the letter. 

The letter has reminded you that you have some unfinished business to take care of.  Perhaps it reminds you that there are things you need or want to change in how you are living your life.  Maybe the letters remind you that you are not telling the people in your life how much they mean to you and how much you love them.  None of these things are easy to consider or think about.   They all mean change, personal risk, and letting yourself be vulnerable to others.

So now I am going to ask you to go one step further and share with the other readers of the Letters how you were able to move forward.  How you were able to change the things in your life that you needed and wanted to change.  

I realize that for some of you this is one step beyond impossible.   For others you may consider doing this, after you think about it for a while.  There are others of you who are saying why would I want to do this or why would anyone want to do this?  THAT IS A WONDERFUL QUESTION. 

MY ANSWER IS TO HELP YOURSELF AND TO HELP OTHER PEOPLE.  YOU MAY FIND A WAY TO CHANGE SOMETHING IN YOUR LIFE THAT SOME ONE ELSE WOULD NEVER EVEN THINK OF.  WHAT A GIFT TO REACH OUT AND SHARE, SO THAT MAYBE SOMEONE ELSE COULD USE YOUR WONDERFUL IDEAS.  

THIS IS ALL GOING BACK TO YOUR PURPOSE FOR BEING HERE ON YOUR MOTHER EARTH.  REMEMBER THE PURPOSE IS TO LEARN TO GIVE AND RECEIVE LOVE.  PART OF LOVING IS SHARING YOURSELF, YOUR THOUGHTS, YOUR IDEAS AND YOUR TIME WITH OTHERS.   THIS IS WHAT FOOTNOTES IS ALL ABOUT.

This may be a huge risk for some of you to take and I honor and respect that.  I also know and trust that you each will do exactly what you want and need to do to take the very best care of yourselves.   As Barbara or Anna is thinking about writing her Footnotes she also is not totally comfortable with putting herself out there either.  It is a risk to make yourself vulnerable to others.  It is also a wonderful growing experience to step out and say to the world here I am and this is how I think and feel.

We are right here loving you.  You each are cherished and loved beyond what you can even imagine.   We are here offering our help.

Know you only need call my name and I will be there.
